What a Scent Diffuser Costs in Egypt

Diffuser prices in Egypt cover a wide range, and the range confuses people because the machines look broadly similar. A 3,500 EGP unit and an 18,000 EGP unit both sit on a shelf and release fragrance. The difference is not badge value. It is coverage, control, noise and how the machine is built.

Here is what each price band buys, and where the jumps are actually worth paying for. Prices are those on our own range as of September 2026 — check the product page for current figures.

2,000 to 4,500 EGP — one room, or a car

At this level you are buying a small, single-purpose machine. The Aro Micro (2,250 EGP) is a vent clip for a car, covering up to 15 m². The Aro Cup V2 (3,500 EGP) is a rechargeable desk and car unit. The Aroplugin V2 (4,500 EGP) plugs directly into a wall socket with four strength settings and a 24-hour mode.

What you give up: coverage and scheduling. These are excellent for a bedroom, a bathroom, an entrance or a car, and they will not scent a floor. Buying one for a large living room is the most common sizing mistake we see.

9,000 to 10,000 EGP — a proper room, properly

This is where the machines become serious. The Aro Slim (9,000 EGP) brings Bluetooth control and nine intensity levels. The AroSlim 2GO (9,999 EGP) adds app control, wireless charging and genuinely quiet operation, and is portable.

The jump from 4,500 to 9,000 is the most worthwhile one on this list for most homes. You are paying for control — the ability to set intensity and schedules rather than leaving a machine running flat out — and control is what stops a space smelling cheap.

14,000 to 15,000 EGP — 300 square metres and app scheduling

The Aro Slim V2 (14,000 EGP) covers up to 300 m² with WiFi app control, a remote, an LED display and a built-in 5000 mAh battery so it can be moved without rewiring. The Aro Tower V2 (15,000 EGP) covers the same 300 m² in a floor-standing tower, runs under 35 dB, holds 120 ml, and adds seven-colour ambient lighting.

These are not larger versions of a bedroom diffuser. They are commercial-grade machines that happen to look good in a villa. If you are scenting a ground floor, a showroom or a restaurant, this is the band to be in.

16,000 to 18,000 EGP — whole premises

The Aro Max (16,000 EGP) reaches 400 m² with 20 strength levels and a 24-hour timer. The Aro Max Pro (18,000 EGP) reaches 600 m² with a 1000 ml tank, app control and a one-year warranty — built for bank branches, gyms, hotel lobbies and office floors.

At this level the tank size matters as much as the coverage. A 1000 ml reservoir means refilling occasionally rather than constantly, which is the difference between a system someone maintains and one everybody forgets.

The cost nobody quotes you

The machine is paid once. The oil is paid forever, and it is the number most buyers never ask about.

How fast you get through oil depends on intensity, hours per day and the work-pause cycle — not on the price of the machine. A well-set 9,000 EGP diffuser can cost less to run than a badly-set 18,000 EGP one. Before you compare two machines on price, ask what each will consume per month at the setting you will actually use.

Our fragrance oils run on any Aromatica 360 device, so the machine you choose does not lock you into a narrow range.

Which jump is worth it

  • Under 4,500: right for a car, a bedroom, a bathroom. Wrong for anything open-plan.
  • 4,500 to 9,000: the most valuable jump for a home. You are buying control, not size.
  • 9,000 to 14,000: only worth it if you genuinely have the square metres. Do not buy 300 m² of coverage for a 60 m² flat — you will run it on its lowest setting forever.
  • Above 16,000: a business decision, not a home one.

Orders above 7,000 EGP ship free anywhere in Egypt.
